Holiday Information

A coastal self guided road cycling holiday in Italy on the island of Sardinia. Famed as Italy’s most exotic island, Sardinia is blessed with a fantastic network of well-surfaced and car-free roads so you’ll be assured of some great cycling during your time here.
The island has a stunning coastline with which you will become very familiar with during your Coastal Explorer cycling tour. Starting in the north of the island, our journey takes us along the high rising limestone cliffs of Capo Caccia and through the lush cork oak-forested Mt Ferru mountains.
The route then follows a coastline of sandy beaches, emerald green waters and jaw-dropping ocean views taking you all the way to the southern point of the island.
It's not all about the cycling though. Sardinia is steeped in history and our route offers the possibility to stop and visit ancient sites, Roman baths, Carthaginian settlements and rural churches.
During your holiday you will stay in a wide variety of dwellings, ranging from independently run small hotels to family managed agriturismowith the accommodation of a consistently high standard throughout. Food wise you are in for a real treat. The Sardinians pride themselves in their cuisine and it is certainly not a destination where you will go hungry!
If you enjoy the freedom and flexibility of going it alone this trip is a fantastic choice! If you fancy seeing what inland Sardinia has to offer we also offer a self-guided coast to coast journey across Sardinia. Please contact us for further details.
If you have a day or two to spare why not extend your trip with some trekking or sea kayaking. Our local team can join you for a day’s guiding or we can provide the information and equipment to allow you to enjoy the routes self-guided, just give us a call for further info.
